It takes 500 years to produce 2 cms of soil. Production led farming and Urban expansion has degraded this precious resource by 25%. A healthy soil absorbs carbon dioxide and managed correctly can itself rectify the current imbalance. The Soil itself should be an environment that is alive, the result is better ground cover, better drainage, better drought resistance, less leaching, less inputs, less disease and healthier plant life.
